Lilly Pulitzer at the Philadelphia Flower Show

Hey there lovelies! This weekend I pressed fast forward to spring (even if it was just for a few hours) at the Philadelphia Flower Show! Spending a few hours celebrating all things bold, bright and beautiful was an excellent excuse to pull out my Lilly!

The theme at the flower show this year was Holland, which called for lots of tulips and lots of orange! Orange was the last name of the royal family of Holland. We actually have the Dutch to thank for orange carrots, they bred carrots to be orange to honor their royals!

Of course, there were also lots of bikes! I spent a few days in Amsterdam when I studied abroad, and have super fond memories of biking along the canals. This theme was right up my alley and took me right down memory lane! (puns intended)
This is the third year running as a tradition for mom and me, and the second year that we enjoyed the butterfly exhibit at the show! I had a special passenger (who I named Bellamy) who blended right in with my Lilly!

Overall, we loved our day, and I love that it's almost time for flowers, greenery, and Lilly full time! Hear that Spring? I'm ready for you!

Have you busted out your Lilly yet this year? Are you ready for Spring? Let me know in the comments below!
With Love, Katie
