Lilly Pulitzer at the Philadelphia Flower Show

Hey there lovelies! This weekend I pressed fast forward to spring (even if it was just for a few hours) at the Philadelphia Flower Show! Spending a few hours celebrating all things bold, bright and beautiful was an excellent excuse to pull out my Lilly!

The theme at the flower show this year was Holland, which called for lots of tulips and lots of orange! Orange was the last name of the royal family of Holland. We actually have the Dutch to thank for orange carrots, they bred carrots to be orange to honor their royals!

Wedding Weekends - Our Minted Save the Dates

Hello there lovelies!

This weekend I'm bringing you a very exciting wedding update, all of our save the dates are in the mail!! This wedding is officially happening people!

I always knew I wanted magnets for my Save the Dates. Somehow making them a magnet makes them feel so much more fun, functional and luxe. After hours upon hours of pouring over stationary sites, I landed on Let Love Shine magnets from Kelly Ventura on Minted.

I was happy with the promptness and design of the changes I made when working with a Minted designer to modify the Save the Date a bit from the stock design (I added a line for our wedding website. So necessary!). Also they came super quick and packaged beautifully. The paper on the magnet is matte and feels nice and thick. I'm totally in love with how they came out!

The next big decision is the invitations themselves! I'm not sure what I'll pick yet, but I know it will echo the vintage inspiration behind my wedding! Stay tuned!

With Love, Katie.

My New Favorite Fitness Accessory - Motivate Wraps

  Hi Lovelies!

I've been focusing a bit on fitness on this blog recently, sharing my workout routine as I head towards my wedding. While the wedding is pretty much all the motivation I've needed recently to stay on track (it's coming up so fast!), every little bit helps!

Scrolling through Instagram recently I came across one of Momentum Jewelry's Motivate Wraps, and I impulse purchased one immediately. I received it, wore it, loved it, and have bought two more since. I'm obsessed!

The concept is that the bracelet wrap itself is made of stretchy, comfortable, workout-friendly jersey material that includes a metal plate with a motivating saying on it. You can choose from lots of options of motivating sayings to keep you going through your day or through your workout, and the wrap itself comes in tons of different colors! If you don't like any of the pre-made sayings, you can make one yourself!

One of the reasons I loved this immediately is because of how perfectly it complements (and elevates) my fitbit (which I wear every single day). I've always had a struggle accessorizing my fitbit, but these wraps work PERFECTLY. Plus, you can wear them while you work out so your fitbit wrist stack can stay stylish pretty much all the time.

Own Today was the first saying I bought, in a go-with-anything black wrap. I've worn it a million times since I've gotten it and I especially love it as a reminder that every day counts when I'm tempted to skip or lag a little during a workout.

You can put find the bracelets on Momentum Jewelry's website for $19.

I hope you've enjoyed this review! What tricks do you have to keep you motivation strong when working toward a fitness goal? I'd love to know! Let me know in the comments below.

With Love, Katie

Wedding Weekends - Venue Tour and Tasting at Aldie Mansion

Hi lovelies!

Today I'm checking in with a recap of one of single most fun days of wedding planning so far - our tasting day! Our Venue, Aldie Mansion, has an exclusive caterer who puts on a "tasting day" for their couples a few times a year. It was a 4 hour foodie event, and it was so, so fun! Since everyone says you never get to stop and eat at your own wedding, this was our chance!

In addition to spending a solid 4 hours grazing on some seriously tasty wedding food, I snuck in a few pictures so you can preview our venue! I hope you enjoy my photo recap below!
